No, the consultation itself is free!
However, if you are reaching out for a consult, I ask that you’re prepared to pay your invoice promptly if you decide to order a cable commission!
If you are planning a distant build, I ask that you wait until you’re ready to order a cable to reach out.
I monitor my email, Discord, and Instagram requests at all hours of the day, and in most cases, I can respond in a matter of minutes and hours. Lengthy email requests with complex questions may take longer

Pricing varies based on the type of cable, and especially with the detachable finish (Cerakote, Patina, or factory finished)
A Straight cable starts at $109, and can be specced up to $200+ (Average of $149)
A coiled cable starts at $139, and can be stacked with upgrades up to $500. (Average of $180)
Over the course of 700+ consultations, I have developed a series of questions to quickly and educationally determine the specs of your cable.
Often times, I will offer two or more options, with explanations, to let you decide between styles in a natural way without having to know a bunch of cable terminology!
Your answers will help me intuitively build out the options you need. For example, I will ask where your USB port is located on your keyboard, and that will tell me which “coil orientation” to recommend.
I sure try not to be! When working with individuals who reach out to me, I always ask questions to determine what’s appropriate for your budget, and I’ll never try to upsell you on something that you haven’t already expressed interest in!
Anything I offer is a suggestion or recommendation, but in most cases, upgrades are purely optional, and not required for a complete cable.
I set my price and upgrade structure based on a simple formula. Most upgrades are priced based on material cost or/or significant time expenditure. For example, my coiled cables start at $149, which includes a wide range of options, resulting in a complete cable. If you wanted, things like CNC machined USB ports, metal sleeve, hand-dyed sleeve, or multi-tone coil patterns, then they increase the cost, but when we discuss them, I’ll let you know about the costs, and you’ll always be allowed to change your mind!

When is a free consutation right for me?

If you would like to order your cable in a more personal way, or require assistance to commission your dream cable - then this is the right page for you!
If you contact me, I ask that you are prepared for an invoice at the end of our conversation, if you decide to commission a cable.
Please include as much details as youre able to when you reach out.
Your budget, theme, cable style, and any other requests are very helpful to know as soon as possible.
In addition to your theme, knowing your color goals is also helpful. For instance, a GMK Taro cable could emphasize the lilac, the deep purple, or incorporate accent colors.
Discord

Discord is one of the best places to contact me to discuss your cable commission.
You should be able to send me a message directly without adding me as a friend first, but I generally accept requests if they come in.
If I receive a friend invite without an accompanying message, be prepared for my favorite pun - “How am I best cable to help you today”!
